Key Summary: Swarag is designed as an instant, privacy-conscious party gaming platform. No accounts, passwords, or personal email signups are required to play. Active room sessions and interaction data are kept in volatile server memory for live gameplay and are wiped when rooms close.
1. Information We Process
Swarag allows users to host and join multiplayer rooms anonymously without creating an account. The information processed during your use includes:
- Temporary Nicknames & Player Identifiers: When you join or create a room, you select a temporary screen nickname. A random, anonymous string is generated and stored locally in your browser's
localStorage(key:party_player_id) strictly to reconnect your session if your network temporarily drops. - In-Game Interaction Data: Game choices, canvas drawing coordinates, guesses, quiz answers, and room chat text are transmitted via WebSockets in real time to connected players in your room.
- WebRTC Voice Chat Signals: When you use voice chat, peer-to-peer WebRTC signaling data is routed through our Socket.IO server to establish a direct audio mesh between players. Voice audio streams directly between players' browsers and is never recorded, monitored, or stored on our servers.
- Technical Logs: Server logs may temporarily record IP addresses, HTTP request headers, and connection timestamps strictly for platform security, rate limiting, and network stability.
2. How We Use Information
Information processed by Swarag is used solely to provide and maintain real-time party gameplay, including:
- Managing room creation, room join verification, active player synchronization, and host controls.
- Transmitting real-time game states (scores, drawing strokes, timer events, round progression).
- Enabling low-latency WebRTC peer connections between room participants.
- Preventing malicious traffic, spam attacks, and ensuring server availability.
3. Third-Party Services & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand platform performance, aggregate visitor counts, and improve game load times. Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as device type, browser language, approximate geographic region, and session duration. Google Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as player names or emails.
4. Google AdSense & Advertising Disclosures
Swarag displays online advertisements through Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners to keep the gaming platform 100% free for all users. In accordance with Google AdSense program policies, please note the following disclosures:

Swarag uses standard web browser localStorage exclusively for essential functionality: saving your anonymous player identifier so that page refreshes or mobile network fluctuations do not kick you out of active multiplayer games. You can clear local storage at any time through your browser settings.
6. Data Retention & Room Lifecycle
Multiplayer room states (nicknames, active scores, drawing history, and lobby chat messages) exist only in volatile server memory for the duration of the room. When all participants disconnect or the room host closes the room, all room state is permanently erased from server memory.
7. Children's Privacy
Swarag does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The platform operates without accounts or personal registration.
