What is Story Chaos?

Story Chaos is an interactive, turn-based party game where your entire friend group collaborates to write a wild, unpredictable narrative word by word. Each player adds to the ongoing tale on their turn without knowing where the next player will take the plot, resulting in hilarious stories and unexpected twists.

Start Modes & Setup

Before launching the game, the room host chooses one of two start modes:

• Continue Story Mode: The game provides an entertaining opening premise or wacky situation to kick off the narrative.
• New Story Mode: Starts with a blank page, allowing the room host to write the opening sentence from scratch.

Gameplay Flow

1. Turn Progression: An active turn indicator highlights which player is currently writing. When it is your turn, a timer starts and you enter your word or punctuation.
2. Punctuation & Flow Controls: Players can append punctuation (periods, commas, exclamation marks) to conclude sentences or keep the sentence rolling into the next player's hands.
3. Plot Twist Injections: The system or room host can inject spontaneous plot twists to flip the narrative completely on its head.
4. Final Story Reading: Once the story is completed, the entire narrative is compiled into a group storybook format for all players to read, screenshot, and share.
