Flash Jigsaw — Game Guide & Rules

2–8 Players • 5 Puzzle Rounds • 15s Preview Phase • Time-Decay Scoring

What is Flash Jigsaw?

Flash Jigsaw tests your spatial and visual memory under time pressure. Players are given a 15-second preview to memorize an intricate image or pattern grid. When the preview ends, the image is scrambled into tiles. Players must swap tiles to reconstruct the original puzzle before the countdown reaches zero.

Round Lifecycle & Step-by-Step Flow

  1. 15-Second Pattern Preview: The solved image is displayed in full resolution. Players have 15 seconds to memorize key reference points, corner tiles, and dominant colors.
  2. Scramble & Tile Swapping: The puzzle grid is shuffled. Players tap or click any two tiles to swap their positions.
  3. Validation & Completion: As soon as a player successfully matches the original tile configuration, their solution is validated by the server and their round score is recorded.
  4. 5 Progressive Rounds: Complete 5 distinct puzzle rounds with varying visual complexities.

Scoring Breakdown

Max Round Score: 1500 Points • Decay Floor: 400 Points • Unsolved: 0 Points

Scores decay smoothly based on how many seconds you take to solve the puzzle. Faster solvers receive top points, while anyone who successfully completes the puzzle within the time limit still earns substantial points.

Tips for Fast Solving

  • Anchor Corners First: Memorize unique corner tiles during the 15-second preview to give yourself immediate anchor points.
  • Color Gradients: Trace the flow of background colors and distinct lines across tile edges.
